From 16^th to 19^th November 2001, a prestigious European fair of agricultural equipments and technologies Agritechnica 2011 took place in Hannover, Germany again after two years. This year was notified in advance as very strongly occupied and record attendance was expected. Actually, pavilions of whole fairground were completely filled with stands of exhibitors. Farmet a. s. presented itself in two pavilions, i.e. in hall 11 with agricultural machines and in hall 21 with oilseed pressing technologies.

Huge TV wall presented to visitors information from operation of the company, as well as profile range of the products.


Agricultural Machinery Division made use the fair for presentation of news in the machinery area. The event presented for the first time the disk plough-harrow SOFTER of working width 4.5 meters, whose major advantage is precise processing of coarse furrow or perfect fallow and integration of large amount of plant residues. Another new product was TRIOLENT in so-far largest working width 8 meters, in semi-mounted version. This huge machine keeps all advantages of its smaller and mounted versions, perfect disintegration, low tractive resistance and high working power. Additionally, the visitors were attracted by DISKOMAT with working width 6 meters with its new design contributing to lower weight of the machine, easier manageability, while maintaining its power.

Machines for soil processing were supplemented with traditional KOMPAKTOMAT in 10 meter width.

In the sowing area, the disk sowing machines MONSUN in 6 meters and 3 meters variants with rotating harrows were presented for the first time in Germany. The classic seeding technology has still its supporters. The visitors interested in more advanced methods were attracted by sowing machine EXCELENT Premium, which may be used for sowing into non-prepared soil and at the same time to make advantage of simultaneous fertilization by granulated fertilizers. It is enabled not only by split storage tank, but also by to independent sowing devices controlled by computer.

We would like to introduce you new disk plough-harrow Softer, which is new generation of well-proven disk plough-harrow Disker. It is intended to universal use, from first stubble breaking to subsequent pre-seeding preparation of soil after fallow or ploughing to maximum depth of 12 cm.

fter more than ten years of reliable operation, the first ever manufactured oil press from the FS product line is back in Farmet in order to overhaul and subsequently expand the Milín Mill. This press was installed and run for the first time in September 1999. In comparison with standard oil presses the structural design of this press is different – the drive is arranged differently, the gearbox is a weldment and the main engine is situated under the oil press frame. In 2000, the equipment was sold to a customer (ZZN Slaný Mill) for rape pressing. The customer was extremely satisfied with it and at the time this place was key for the presentation of our know-how to other potential customers. The first oil press is now going to be used for pre-pressing in the Milín Mill which is being expanded by one machine set for extruder pressing. The press from Žatec Mill is to be used for final pressing.

“Farmet traditionally participated in this year’s international agricultural fair “Golden Autumn” in Moscow. Both technical divisions of the Company presented their assortment and technological novelties. The representatives of Farmet from Česká Skalice joined with Russian business partners in a team which contributed to a very positive perception of the entire exposition and positive evaluation of the proficiency and competence of the team. There were many meetings with parties seriously interested in buying agricultural technology in the entire region. During the exhibition we met with Czech Ambassador for Russian Federation-Mr.Kolář and were discussing about the opportunity of Czech agricultural producers on the russian market. Farmet confirmed the correctness of the system of distribution and cooperation of partners on the Russian market that is very important for building and strengthening the confidence in the brand and related services.
