Chisel Cultivators Duolent
The DOULENT chisel cultivator is a very universal cultivator intended for stubble ploughing after harvest or for aerating up to the depth of 35 cm.
Main machine advantages:
- Simple construction
- 3 point linkage version
- Hydraulic folding to transport width of 3 m
- Possiblity to work with folded machine (carried version)
- Heavy duty frame (profile 100 x 100 x 8)
- The shape and spacing of the tines provides free flow for plant residues
- Great working depth
- Relatively low draught
- Excellent penetration of tines into soil
- High work output
News 2012: Duolent with a working coverage of 6 and 8 meters
- semi-carried version

Technical specification
Proofed concept
The machine is equipped with two rows of chisel shares that can be supplemented with winglets for full-area undercut. In this way stubble ploughing can be done in regular working depths with a very low labour resistance. When aerating in greater working depths, it is possible to work without the winglets so that the labour resistance of the machine does not substantially increase and the same pulling instrument can be used.
When needed, the whole frame can be disassembled and the total number of working shares can be decreased, which will decrease the labour resistance. Tilted machines also allow working in a tilted position. The work engagement can be temporarily decreased and very compacted soil where the pulling equipment would not otherwise suffice with the full work engagement can be deeply aerated.
The DUOLENT machine is equipped with shares of time-tested construction secured by a massive spring with a high release force of 450 kg. The optimized shape of shares provides a very low traction resistance and a great mixing effect. The permeability for plant remnants is also very high as the machine virtually does not get clogged even under the most difficult conditions. The geometry of shares has excellent crumpling and minimum formation of clods. An amply dimensioned frame is used for the Duloent chisel cultivators – 100 x 100 x 8 profile in the carried version; 100 x 100 x 10 provide for the semi-carried version.
Choice of rear roller
The final quality of work is also substantially influenced by the levelling discs behind the shares. These discs do not only level the soil after shares, but they also create a soft surface structure thanks to the optimized tilt of the discs that creates the effect of placing larger clods into the ridges after the share and brings soft crumbled soils up to the surface. A proper selection of the type of the rear roller is also very important as it participates to a large extent in the resulting work quality. The roller compacts as well as crumbles and levels the soil. The selection of the roller depends on the type of soil and the method of use of the machine.
Possibility to work with folded machine
When loosening up to a higher depth, the machine can be folded and a lower performance towing vehicle can be used.
